Invoice due date method

Invoice due dates can be calculated by adding calendar or business-day payment terms and then adjusting for non-working days.

  1. Start from the invoice date.
  2. Apply the selected net terms.
  3. Adjust to an accepted business day if the due date falls on a weekend or holiday.

Examples

Net 30 planning

Input
Invoice: 2026-05-14, Terms: Net 30
Output
Due date depends on weekend and holiday settings

The final date can be adjusted when the calculated due date falls on a non-working day.

FAQ

Are invoice terms always business days?

Not always. Some agreements use calendar days and others use business days, so the UI will make that choice explicit.
